And whilst they are spaced more than adequately for a remote private get away, they also make an ideal area for a group or family gathering as if you hire all four pods you can use the grass area for your communal eating and sitting you can move all the tables to create a big eating and bbq area.

 

 

There are loads of good walks in the local area and plenty of space for kids to play. It’s more like compact, self-catered living than camping. Logs are available for purchase for your fire pit, so you can toast marshmallows on the terrace. The pods have comfy fixed beds, a solid roof and an electricity supply while there’s a kettle, TV, lights, plug sockets and Tabletop Fridges should you require them. 

 

 

There is plenty of space for group games, you can put up a gazebo for extra storage space or to sit under if it rains. Hen parties, adult birthdays, anniversary's, family get aways and children birthday parties are just some of the reasons they have been booked. Big Bear is perfect for those who love the great outdoors but find little joy in the pitching of tents, inflating of air beds and the slow boiling of kettles on camp stoves.
